亲爱的同事们:
我的实验室将于今年七月迁至加州大学伯克利分校,我将在神经科学部和分子治疗学部任职,实验室空间设在李嘉诚生物医学与健康科学中心。现诚聘最多三名博士后研究员在未来一年内加入实验室。
本实验室研究神经退行性疾病的基础生物学,重点关注溶酶体功能障碍与RNA代谢,并以iPSC来源的人类神经元作为核心实验平台。我们的大部分工作都将基因组规模的功能基因组筛选(CRISPRi、CRISPRa、光学混合筛选、Perturb-seq)与机制性细胞生物学、生物化学及计算方法相结合。实验室近期发表的项目包括:发现UNC13A隐匿外显子驱动ALS中的运动神经元变性、发现ALS中隐匿剪接的蛋白质,以及深入解析TMEM106B和GRN变异如何调控人脑中溶酶体纤维积聚的机制。
实验室的博士后项目涵盖从纯实验到主要计算导向的全方位研究。新成员可以主导功能基因组筛选、从事溶酶体和纤维生物学研究、探索RNA代谢与TDP-43功能,或基于个人独特背景提出与实验室方向契合的新课题。我特别欢迎希望跨湿实验与计算研究的申请者。
我期待博士后具备扎实的博士训练背景和清晰的论文发表记录。有用的背景经历包括:iPSC与神经元细胞生物学、CRISPR功能基因组学、分子生物学与生物化学、高级荧光显微镜技术,以及应用于生物数据的计算生物学或机器学习。但相比任何单项技术,我更看重科学严谨性、独立性、敬业精神、协作意识,以及推进并建立独特研究项目的能力。
