Chart.xkcd 2.0

Chart.xkcd^[1] 是我在 2019 年做的一个手绘风格的图表库，主要灵感来自于 xkcd 漫画^[2]。

当时主要是为 star-history^[3] 做的，在这类场景，人们查看图表的时候，关注的不是具体数值，而是整体趋势。
我需要一种模糊具体数值，主要关注趋势的图表库，于是就做了这个工具。

一转眼，已经是 7 年前的事情了，虽然更新不勤快，但还是看到有挺多人在用的:

• • GitHub^[1] 上 7 千多个 star
• • 有 100 多个项目^[4] 依赖这个库
• • jsdelivr^[5] 上每月也有 2 万多次调用。

最近做一个新项目时我需要用到这个图表库，发现有些依赖有安全漏洞，新的图表也没有 release. 于是花了几天时间和 claude code 一起更新了一下 chart.xkcd 。

2.0 的新功能

1. 1. 修复安全漏洞，升级依赖
2. 2. 减小 npm 安装包体积
3. 3. 优化 example 页面^[6]，一个页面查看所有图表
4. 4. 新增 Combined chart^[7]
