4月1日，小米公司公开发布“SU7高速事故致3人遇难”事发前后信息摘要，事故原因尚待警方进一步调查。

有网友发文称，3月29日晚，3名女大学生驾驶小米SU7前往安徽池州的路上，在铜陵枞阳高速发生碰撞后车辆爆燃，并称“车锁未解锁，无法打开车门逃生”。据报道，该起事故造成3人身亡。

Xiaomi said on Tuesday that it was actively cooperating with police after a fatal accident involving a SU7 electric vehicle on Saturday and it had handed over driving and system data. Local media reported that three people died in the incident.

Videos and images of the charred vehicle circulated widely on Chinese social media on Monday, with some users claiming to be family members or friends of the victims. They alleged that the car's doors remained locked after the collision, preventing escape, and that the battery ignited rapidly, leading to fatal burns.

Xiaomi did not immediately confirm the number of casualties but said initial information showed the car was in the Navigate on Autopilot intelligent-assisted driving mode before the accident and was moving at 116 kph (72 mph).
