员工入职要改成“鼠”姓？公司回应……网友吵翻

A social media post recently claimed that employees at Three Squirrels, a Chinese snack company, are required to change their real names upon joining, adopting nicknames beginning with the character "shu" (which means mouse in Chinese). The post has sparked widespread discussion online.
据该网友发布的照片显示，在一会议现场上，每个座位都摆放着以“鼠”字开头的名牌。
Photos shared by the user showed a company meeting where each seat was labeled with a "shu" nickname.
Netizen reactions were mixed — some called the practice "fun", while others questioned its necessity or expressed concern that employees might feel pressured to participate.
11月24日，据经视直播报道，三只松鼠股份有限公司工作人员表示，公司确实有以“鼠”字作为名字前缀的文化。“大家都用‘鼠’字起名，感觉更亲切、可爱一些，也突出我们的品牌特色。”该工作人员还表示，这并非强制规定，“没有说不同意就会有什么后果。”
三只松鼠创始人兼CEO章燎原也曾回应公司花名文化一事。他表示，“无论以何种方式，如果员工喜闻乐见地接受并最终落到企业的价值观，以消费者为中心，组织内部高度协同且有趣，都是好的企业文化！”
On Monday, a Three Squirrels staff member clarified that employees are encouraged — but not required — to use "shu" nicknames, which are meant to make the workplace friendlier and reflect the brand.
Founder and CEO Zhang Liaoyuan added that any nickname culture employees enjoy and that aligns with the company's values is positive.
这不是三只松鼠花名文化第一次引起关注。11月中旬，有消费者在社交平台发帖称，其购买的三只松鼠板栗疑似变质并申请退货时，发现商家退货收件人名为“退货鼠”。该消费者质疑这一名称谐音“退货死”，存在“阴阳消费者”的恶意倾向，相关诉求引发广泛讨论。
This is not the first time Three Squirrels' nickname culture has drawn attention. In mid-November, a customer requesting a refund for spoiled chestnuts noticed that the return recipient was listed as "Refund Mouse", which some felt sounded like "refund death" in Chinese.
The company later explained that the name is part of its internal culture, alongside titles such as "Shipping Mouse" and "Customer Service Mouse", and was never intended to offend customers.
Lawyer Yang Min noted that many companies adopt playful nicknames to strengthen corporate culture. The practice is generally legal if participation is voluntary and employees' rights are respected, but mandatory use could infringe on personal dignity.
取花名是很多公司尤其是大厂的企业文化。比如阿里员工们的称呼一般都取自武侠小说，马云的花名就叫“风清扬”。另据报道，拼多多的早期团队元老也都是以水果蔬菜名称来取花名。
