甜品店将5.2级地震用于“520”营销？网友怒了

A dessert shop in Guilin, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, has sparked widespread outrage after using the recent 5.2 magnitude earthquake in neighboring Liuzhou as a social media marketing gimmick.
On Tuesday, the store posted a slogan reading: "What arrived earlier than May 20 was the tremor from the 5.2 magnitude Liuzhou earthquake," triggering fierce backlash online. May 20, or "520", is popularly associated with romance in China because the numbers sound similar to the Mandarin phrase for "I love you".
不少网友愤怒表示，毫无底线！
Many netizens condemned the post as "Utterly shameless!" and accused the business of exploiting a natural disaster for commercial gain.
当日，该商家在社交平台发布致歉声明，表示已在第一时间删除了相关内容，并真诚接受所有批评。
The business later issued a public apology, saying it had deleted the post and would accept criticism sincerely.
据“七星发布”微信公众号20日凌晨消息，广西桂林市七星区市场监督管理局发布情况通报称，经第一时间开展核查工作，已查实舆论反映的涉事蛋糕店存在借柳州地震灾情进行商业营销的行为。
目前，该局已对涉事主体立案调查，依法依规进行处理。
The regulator said the cake shop had been confirmed to have engaged in commercial marketing related to the Liuzhou earthquake disaster. The business has since been placed under formal investigation, and the case will be handled in accordance with laws and regulations.
据柳州市抗震救灾指挥部5月19日通报，2026年5月18日21时44分，在广西柳州市柳南区(北纬24.37度，东经109.26度)发生5.2级地震，震源深度8公里；22时18分在柳北区石碑坪镇（北纬24.56度，东经109.32度）发生2.4级地震，震源深度10公里；22时27分在柳城县社冲乡（北纬24.44度，东经109.26度）发生2.1级地震，震源深度10公里。
据初步排查统计，从5月18日21时44分至5月19日3时，地震共造成1人受轻微伤，1间无人居住泥房倒塌。目前，消防、应急、公安、住建、民政、卫健等部门和柳南区正全力开展应急救援、灾情排查、群众转移安置等工作。震区通信、供电、供水、供气、交通道路等处于基本正常运行状态。
