If you delete a friend but they haven't deleted you, the likes and comments you exchanged will remain visible to both of you. If both of you delete each other, however, that person's likes and comments will disappear from your Moments. Your own replies will remain, but all of their interactions will be removed. In other words, if you've deleted someone and wonder whether they've done the same, one clue is to check whether their comments or likes are still visible.

One thing, however, doesn't change: your mutual friends can still see those past interactions, regardless of whether the two of you remain friends.
