双语君约 4 分钟近日，福建厦门，一名男子在海边游玩时不慎溺水，失去意识。危急关头，中学生陈锦威、陈泽宇，护士戴秋玲紧急接力施救，成功挽救了一条生命。
A man who nearly drowned while swimming off the coast of Xiamen in Fujian province was saved, thanks to the quick actions of two middle-school students and a nurse, who pulled him from the water and performed CPR on shore.
相关部门负责人对三人挺身而出、勇救溺水者的英勇行为给予高度肯定。

这两名少年是17岁的陈锦威与16岁的陈泽宇，二人是堂兄弟，就读于福州福清一中观溪校区。
事发在7月5日下午，陈锦威、陈泽宇跟着家人到海边游玩，途中突然听见岸边传来 “有人溺水” 的呼喊。
The incident happened on the afternoon of July 5 at Baicheng Beach. Cousins Chen Jinwei and Chen Zeyu, both middle-school students, were spending the day with their families when they heard cries that someone was drowning.
二人循声望去，一名男子脸朝下漂浮在离岸五六米的海面，起初他们以为对方只是在水下憋气。直到海浪将男子翻转身，僵直的身体、青紫的嘴唇让兄弟俩意识到事态危急。
After quickly assessing the situation, they rushed into the water and brought the unconscious man back to shore. He was pale and had stopped breathing. Chen Jinwei immediately began performing CPR using first-aid skills he had learned at school, buying precious time until professional help arrived.
陈锦威跪地为溺水者实施心肺复苏，持续按压约数十秒。
Meanwhile, Dai, a nurse at Zhongshan Hospital, affiliated with Xiamen University, was in the water with her daughter when she heard calls for a medical professional. She rushed over and took over the resuscitation efforts.
The two teenagers later stressed that in most emergencies, people should first call for help and contact the police (110) or emergency medical services (120) rather than attempting a rescue themselves.

陈锦威表示：“对我而言，这是人生的一次考验，也是一次宝贵的成长经历。通过这次经历，我也看到了自己的不足，比如专业急救知识的掌握还不够扎实，体能方面也还有提升空间。这让我更加坚定，今后要加强锻炼，练好身体，多学习急救知识和应急技能，努力成为一个对社会有用的人。”
It was Dai's first time performing CPR outside a hospital. "It was pure professional instinct," she said. "I've responded to many emergency cases at the hospital. When I see someone's life hanging in the balance, there's only one thing on my mind: save them."
