“你胆子真是肥嘟嘟”全网爆火，这个梗是什么意思？
双语君 阿研约 3 分钟最近，这只黄色袋鼠带着一句“你胆子真是肥嘟嘟”占领各大评论区。
这个梗出自一张搞笑对话截图：顾客想让骑手帮忙捎带东西，骑手直接拒绝。顾客说有100元小费之后，商家却横插一脚，打算抢下这份差事，结果骑手直接回怼：“胆子真是肥嘟嘟的啊”……
A yellow kangaroo has recently taken over Chinese comment sections with one cheeky line: "Your guts are getting extra chubby!"
The meme comes from a hilarious screenshot of an online exchange. A customer asked a delivery rider to pick up an extra item and deliver it, but the rider flatly refused. Then the customer offered a 100-yuan tip. Seeing the money offered in the chat, a business owner jumped in and offered to do it instead.
The rider was not having it. He fired back: "Your guts are really getting chubby!"
原本是生气的反驳，却用上了“肥嘟嘟”这种叠词，凶狠的指责配上可爱的词语，好一个“狠话软说”！
Here's where the joke gets lost in translation. In Chinese, "胆子肥 (danzifei)" literally means "fat guts", but it is a slangy way of saying someone is "getting too bold or has some serious nerve". Add "嘟嘟 (dudu)", a playful reduplication that makes the phrase sound softer, cuter and chubbier, and "胆子肥嘟嘟" turns an angry comeback into something that sounds almost adorable.
It is basically the Chinese art of delivering a harsh roast in the cutest possible way.
