习近平宣布中国将于明年接任金砖主席国

当地时间9月12日下午，国家主席习近平在新德里出席金砖国家领导人第十八次会晤第一阶段会议时宣布，中国将于明年接任金砖主席国，主办金砖国家领导人第十九次会晤。习近平强调，中方愿以此为契机，同各方凝聚共识、开创未来，开启金砖合作第三个“金色十年”，共创繁荣进步的光明前景。

President Xi Jinping said on Saturday that China will assume the BRICS presidency next year and will host the 19th BRICS Summit.
