“一句三甩头，白色飘逸刘海半遮脸”，意外走红的浙大教授真的是“学术男神”
双语君约 3 分钟Professor Han Gaorong of Zhejiang University went viral online after his distinctive hairstyle and frequent hair-flipping during a speech at the university's opening ceremony on Sunday charmed audiences.
在2021年的国家科学技术奖励大会上，由韩高荣教授领衔的浙江大学和中国玻璃控股公司合作完成的“浮法在线氧化物系列功能薄膜高效制备成套技术及应用”项目，获得国家技术发明奖二等奖。团队突破四大难点，取得四项重大技术发明，终于为中国玻璃穿上了高性能的“神奇外衣”，成功打破国际垄断。
Han completed all his degrees at Zhejiang University, beginning his bachelor’s in 1979 and completing his doctorate in 1989.
In 2021, his project conducted with China Glass Holdings, won second prize at the National Technology Invention Awards. The team overcame four major technical challenges, giving Chinese glass a high-performance "magic coating" and breaking international monopolies.

在材料学院，韩高荣是最受学生欢迎的老师之一。韩高荣教授的刘海比较长，有人说，科学家韩高荣有艺术家气质。一位材料学院的同学说，他们课题组私下里把韩老师视为偶像。
Han teaches two undergraduate courses: Materials Processing Technology and Engineering Materials. Known for his long bangs and artistic flair, he is one of the most popular teachers at the university, with students in his research group privately regarding him as an idol.
“韩老师的理念是‘快乐每一天，活过一百岁’。他一直将这种快乐做科研的理念传递给我们，经常跟我们鼓劲，每次开完组会我们都斗志满满的”，2014级直博生李玮说。
韩高荣教授喜欢在一些开心的场合唱歌，最爱唱的就是周华健的《朋友》，不过他把歌词里的“朋友”全改成了“同学”。韩高荣的博士生赵若愚说，“韩老师会和课题组一起出游，他也愿意尝试狼人杀等各种桌游。韩老师是一个很有冒险和探索精神的人，遇到有趣的都想尝试一下，我也从中体会到做科研就要对世界充满好奇心。”
His philosophy is, "Be happy every day, live past 100," and he passes this joyful approach to research on to his students. A doctoral student said they feel energized after every group meeting.
Han sings Wakin Chau's "Friends" at gatherings, replacing "friends" with "classmates," joins outings, and tries board games like Werewolf. One student said his adventurous spirit taught him that research requires curiosity about the world.
2012年，在担任材料学院院长期间，韩高荣建立“教师贫困基金”，专门帮助生活贫苦的教师，他自己带头捐款10万元。他鼓励有能力的老师、学生设立各类基金和奖学金，对家庭困难的教职工、优秀学生、贫困学生等给予支持。
In 2012, while serving as dean, Han established a fund to help financially struggling faculty, donating 100,000 yuan himself. He encourages capable teachers and students to set up funds and scholarships for disadvantaged staff and students.
