情侣在演唱会求婚遭后排喊“坐下”,拍摄者:花几千元买票只想安静听歌;网友吵翻……
A marriage proposal during a Zhao Lei concert in Beijing has ignited a fierce online debate about public etiquette and the boundaries of romantic gestures at live events.
According to Xiaoxiang Morning Herald, the incident occurred on Saturday during a performance by the singer Zhao Lei. A man seated in the front row suddenly proposed to his girlfriend, who stood up in excitement. The moment quickly drew ire from surrounding rows, with audience members shouting "Sit down!" Several rows of spectators joined in the chorus of complaints.
The couple, dressed in a wedding gown and suit, then began tossing candy to the crowd, prompting a scramble among nearby attendees. Some were reportedly hit by the thrown sweets, and the scene briefly descended into chaos. Six or seven security guards intervened to restore order.
A spectator surnamed Xie, who filmed the scene, told Xiaoxiang Morning Herald that he had paid several thousand yuan for his ticket and simply wanted to enjoy the music in peace. He posted the video online, where it quickly went viral.
He later revealed that someone claiming to be the proposer had messaged him, saying they had contacted police and initiated legal proceedings, demanding the video be taken down. In his post, Xie clarified that he was not opposed to proposals at concerts in principle, but believed they should be appropriate to the setting.
也有网友愿意送上祝福:“不是每个人都能有那么大勇气……送上祝福比耽误一会儿演唱会更有意义!”
Many users argued that ticket buyers pay to see their favorite artist, not to witness a stranger's private ceremony. Others were more sympathetic. "Not everyone has that kind of courage," one user wrote. "Offering blessings is more meaningful than losing a few minutes of the concert."
Some suggested a middle ground: romance is welcome, but it should not come at the expense of others.
