间谍资助学子多年只为“放长线、钓大鱼”，这个故事改编自国家安全部披露的案例。间谍假借“捐资助学”策反优秀青少年、从事非法窃密活动，故事的主人公林辰原型是我国某重要部门职工小韦。
小韦自幼在福利院长大，在当地有关部门和社会爱心人士帮扶资助下顺利进入我国某重点高校就读。
和其他受资助学生不同的是，小韦读高中时，一名自称“L老师”的人突然出现，并提出以每年5000元对他进行资助，直至其大学毕业。
The story follows a character named Lin Chen, based on a real employee surnamed Wei at a key government agency in China. Wei grew up in a welfare home and was supported by local authorities and charitable individuals through his studies at a top university. Unlike other sponsored students, a man calling himself Teacher L appeared during Wei's high school years and offered 5,000 yuan annually until his college graduation.
大学毕业后，按照“L老师”的建议，小韦考入了我国某重要部门。“L老师”经常向小韦打探我国政策制定方面的内部敏感信息，并以开展研究、撰写报告等名义，要求小韦提供一些涉密数据资料。
随着“L老师”索要的资料越来越关键敏感，小韦逐渐觉察到了其中的问题，最终决定向国家安全机关举报。
After graduating, Wei followed Teacher L's advice and joined an important government agency. The man frequently probed for internal sensitive information about policy-making and, under the guise of research and reports, asked Wei to provide classified data. As the requests grew increasingly sensitive, Wei sensed something was wrong and reported the matter to national security authorities.
经国家安全机关查明，“L老师”的真实身份是境外间谍情报机关人员。多年来一直在我国境内物色、培养像小韦一样具备较好发展前景的青少年，妄图“放长线、钓大鱼”。
他们假借“捐资助学”之名，利用受助人员的“报恩”心理，怂恿其报考党政机关、科研院所，或者参军入伍，借此打入关键核心岗位，进而指挥其非法搜集窃取内部敏感资料，开展危害我国国家安全的间谍窃密活动。
Investigators confirmed that Teacher L was an overseas intelligence agent who had spent years identifying and cultivating promising young people in China. The spy used the guise of "educational donations" to exploit recipients' sense of gratitude, encouraging them to apply for government agencies, research institutes or the military, so they could infiltrate key positions and steal sensitive internal data.
警惕间谍的“温柔陷阱”，时刻保持高度警惕和头脑清醒。国家安全部公开披露的案例提示，感情拉拢、金钱收买、学术交流、兼职招聘、网络勾连，是境外间谍情报机关惯用手段。
面对境外机构或个人提出的相关要求，务必保持高度警惕和头脑清醒。认清间谍圈套，切莫因小失大。任何真正为你好的人，不会让你去违纪违法，任何真正的恩情，不会以泄露国家秘密为代价。
National security authorities warn the public to remain vigilant against such "gentle traps", noting that emotional manipulation, financial bribery, academic exchanges, part-time recruitment, and online contact are common tactics used by overseas intelligence agencies. Anyone who truly cares for you would never ask you to break the law, and no genuine kindness would come at the cost of leaking state secrets.
