还没比赛就被淘汰！中国女子板球队队长落泪

Chinese women's cricket team's long-awaited return to the Asian Games ended before it could even take the field, as its quarterfinal against Bangladesh was canceled due to a waterlogged pitch on Thursday during the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan, Xinhua News Agency reported. Bangladesh went through to the semi-finals by virtue of being the higher ranked side under Asian Games competition rules.

据新华社报道，由于近日降雨，场地持续湿软，达不到板球比赛的开赛标准。比赛先是推迟，随后被取消。根据本届亚运会板球项目竞赛规则，若比赛因天气等客观原因无法进行，则依据两队世界排名判定胜负。

Persistent rainfall in recent days in Japan had left the field wet and soft, making it unsuitable for play. The quarterfinal match was initially delayed before being called off. Under the cricket competition regulations for the Asian Games, if a match cannot be played due to objective factors such as weather, the winner is determined based on the teams' world rankings.
本届亚运会共有八支队伍参加女子板球项目，孟加拉国、巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡、印度为世界排名前十的种子队伍，她们分别对阵中国、泰国、马来西亚、日本四支非种子队。
这是中国女子板球队时隔12年重返亚运会，球队未能登场，就此提前结束本次亚运征程。

据中国青年报报道，赛后，澳大利亚籍中国队主教练德·温·阿里斯特表示，“考虑到过去一周这里的天气以及面临的各种挑战，我们知道要打上这场比赛会很困难。我们感谢场地工作人员竭尽全力，但我们非常失望，我们原本希望全世界能够看到中国女队在大型赛事中的首次亮相。不过我们会重新调整状态，继续努力。”
"We knew it was going to be tough to get a game given the weather in the last week here and all the challenges there have been," said China's Australian coach Alan Newington. "We're grateful to the ground staff for trying their best. But we're very disappointed. We were hoping the world could see the China women play for the first time in a big tournament. But we'll reset and we'll try again."
中国女子板球队队长朱明月也在赛后接受了采访。朱明月说：“确实没有办法打这个比赛是非常可惜的，但是这也是成长的一部分。因为比赛场上什么都有可能发生，只能接受它。等回去我们再去训练，再去努力，以后我们肯定还会有这样的机会去跟这些强队交手。”

"It is truly a pity that we were unable to play this match, yet it is also part of our growth. Anything can happen on the field, and we simply have to accept it," said Zhu Mingyue, captain of the Chinese women's cricket team, in a post‑match interview. "We will resume our training and keep working hard. There will surely be opportunities for us to go up against these strong teams in future competitions."
一直以来，天气都是板球比赛最大的不确定因素之一。一方面，由于板球飞行速度快，下雨会严重影响击球手的视线和判断；另一方面，板球比赛对球道黏土的干燥度要求非常高，若遇下雨，赛场的工作人员就必须在第一时间用巨大的雨布将球道和周围都盖住，以保护场地。
在2023年杭州亚运会男子板球比赛中，因大雨被迫中断的决赛，同样并没有延期或以其他方式进行，而是通过比较球队的国际排名判定了冠军的归属。
2023年10月7日，印度队与阿富汗队的决赛在推迟了20分钟后，趁着雨停的间歇，比赛得以开打。然而好景不长，当上半场进行到18回合时，雨势突然加大导致比赛暂停，此后大雨一直没有停下来的迹象，决赛最终被迫终止，印度队因更高的排名被判胜。
而在亚运会的板球赛场，另类决胜负的方式不只这一种。2014年仁川亚运会上，板球比赛甚至还出现过抛硬币决定胜负的情况。
