男生军训谎称上厕所，擅自离校飞上海旅游……高校通报

9月21日晚，海南外国语职业学院发布情况通报称，该生未经办理相关手续自行离校后，学校第一时间与该生及其家长积极联系沟通。目前，其本人及家人已申请退学，学校已按相关规定办理完毕该生退学手续。

A video showing a 2026 freshman at Hainan College of Foreign Studies leaving campus on his own during military training has drawn widespread attention.

In a statement released on Monday evening, the college said it contacted the student and his parents as soon as it learned he had left without completing the required procedures. The student and his family have since applied to withdraw, and the college has completed the withdrawal procedures in accordance with relevant regulations.

此外，对于网传该生“辅导员、军训教官被处分”等信息，学校表示不属实。该生自行离校属个人行为，学校及军训承训单位均未对辅导员、相关教官进行处理、处分，相关辅导员和教官目前在军训一线正常履职。

The college also denied online claims that the student's counselor and military training instructor had been punished. It said the student's departure was a personal act, and neither the college nor the military training unit took disciplinary action against the counselor or instructor, both of whom are currently performing their duties as normal.

Earlier media reports said the freshman left the school without permission during military training and traveled from Sanya, Hainan province, to Shanghai, filming the entire trip and posting it online.

视频显示，该男生称“刚军训几小时就受不了，跟教官说要上厕所，偷偷跑出来了”，随后换装离开学校，先是前往三亚，后又到了上海。

In the video, the student said he "couldn't stand it after just a few hours of training", told his instructor he needed to use the bathroom and slipped away. He then changed clothes and left the school, first heading to Sanya and later to Shanghai.

9月20日，该男生在账号上致歉，称已和辅导员报平安。

目前，该男生的账号已被禁止关注。

On Sunday, the student apologized on his account, saying he had reported his safety to his counselor. His account has since been banned from being followed.
