从百慕大起飞的失联飞机，残骸已发现

当地时间10月3日，美国海岸警卫队证实，在马萨诸塞州南部楠塔基特岛附近海域发现了此前失联飞机的残骸。海岸警卫队表示，对机上6名失踪乘客的搜寻工作仍在继续。

Searchers found a "debris field" off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts, from an air ambulance that was carrying six people when it vanished over the Atlantic on Saturday during a flight from Bermuda to Boston, the US Coast Guard said.

当天稍早前，一架载有6人的小型飞机在从百慕大飞往波士顿途中失联。据悉，涉事飞机是湾流G100型喷气式飞机，用于医疗运输，原定飞往波士顿洛根国际机场。马萨诸塞州港务局发言人证实，该飞机未按计划抵达洛根机场。百慕大政府表示，已与机上人员的家属取得联系。

Four Canadians and two Bermudian nationals were aboard, and their next of kin were notified as the search continued, the Coast Guard said in a statement.

According to the Coast Guard, the Federal Aviation Administration reported that the Gulfstream G100 lost contact very early Saturday morning. Air traffic audio indicates that it may have been "coming in blind" when a storm loomed ahead shortly before it vanished.

24小时飞行雷达网站提供的实时航班飞行状况初步数据显示，当时飞机从约7300米的巡航高度急剧下降至约3050米。

在空中通话音频分享网站LiveATC.net发布的相关音频中可以听到，空管人员问飞行员：“你说你在盲飞，是这样吗？”

The pilot reported electrical problems and declared an emergency as the jet approached the coast, according to air traffic control audio posted by LiveATC.net. "Roger, you said you're coming in blind. Is that what you said?" a controller can be heard asking the pilot.

The plane also descended sharply from its cruising altitude of around 24,000 feet to around 10,000 feet, according to preliminary data from flight tracking site FlightRadar24.

美国交通部前监察长、航空安全专家玛丽·夏沃推测，飞机可能在风暴横穿飞行路径时遭遇导航失灵，飞行员失去空间方向感，只能盲飞。

That makes Mary Schiavo, who is a former Inspector General of the Transportation Department, think the plane may have lost its navigational instruments just as a storm moved across its path on radar. 

据了解，该飞机是一架在加拿大注册的空中救护机，于3日凌晨0时41分从百慕大起飞前往波士顿。机上共有四名机组人员和两名乘客。这两名乘客原本计划前往波士顿接受医疗救治。

The Canadian-registered air ambulance jet had four crew members and two passengers aboard when it departed Bermuda's L.F. Wade International Airport for the nighttime flight to Massachusetts, according to a statement from the Bermuda airport's operator, Skyport.
