A woman from Hubei province, identified by the pseudonym Xiaoshe, lost her phone while visiting Nanjing, Jiangsu province, but got it back quickly after strangers and police stepped in.

The phone was newly bought and had been left on a shared bike. She noticed it was missing two or three minutes later. By the time she returned, the bicycle had been ridden away.

Borrowing a friend's phone, she called her own number. Police in a roadside patrol car answered. The finders had already handed the device in. The phone went from lost to found in less than five minutes.

She later found a video in her album, recorded by the finders. "You left your phone on the shared bike, you little fool, you muddlehead. It's new, isn't it? We've given it to the police. No need to buy us duck wings," they said.

She posted the clip online and connected with them within a day. She planned to send Zhou Hei Ya, a Hubei braised-duck brand, and other local specialties as a thank-you.

Zhou Hei Ya's official account responded in the comments: "This order of duck wings is on us." The brand said it would pick 10 good-deed stories and send a box to both sides in each, hoping to encourage more people to return lost items and keep such warmth alive.
