Chinese beverage giants Mengniu Group and Dongpeng Beverage Group have ended their partnerships with French footballer Kylian Mbappé after he made remarks about China that were widely criticized as inappropriate in a recent interview.

10月27日上午，东鹏饮料集团通过官方微博发布声明称，坚决反对、零容忍伤害民族感情的行为。即日起终止与基利安·姆巴佩的全部合作。

Mengniu announced on Tuesday that it was terminating all cooperation with the Real Madrid forward. Dongpeng had earlier said it "firmly opposes and has zero tolerance for behavior that hurts national feelings" and was ending all cooperation with Mbappé effective immediately.

同时，东鹏旗下电解质饮料“补水啦”官方微博也发文宣布终止与基利安·姆巴佩合作的声明。

Dongpeng's electrolyte drink brand, Bushuila, also announced the end of its partnership with the player.

By Tuesday noon, Mengniu, Dongpeng Special Drink and Bushuila had removed all Mbappé-related promotional materials. The official Weibo account of Swiss sportswear brand On had also removed all Mbappé-related content.
