74岁知名作家直播签名到凌晨1点引争议！本人回应：常年写作养成晚睡习惯，不存在出版社压榨一说

近日，74岁的动物小说作家沈石溪直播“to签”持续到凌晨1点一事，在网上引起热烈讨论。

中青报·中青网记者注意到，不少网友看到年逾七旬的沈石溪在镜头前一本接一本地签名，心疼之余将矛头指向出版社，认为其存在“压榨老人”的情况。

Chinese author of animal stories Shen Shixi has dismissed online concerns that he is being "exploited" by his publisher after a signing session that was livestreamed kept the 74-year-old at his desk until 1 am.

有网友称，自己私信出版社客服建议不要让沈石溪熬夜直播，客服回应买书的大部分是宝妈，只有10点后才有空。

After seeing him signing books late into the night on the livestream, many said they felt sorry for him and directed their anger at the publisher. Some said they had privately messaged the publisher's customer service, but received a reply that most buyers are mothers who are only free after 10 pm.

10月26日，沈石溪本人通过社交账号发布视频，对这场争议作出回应，也打破了 “被压榨” 的传言。

他表示，自己数十年坚持写作，早已养成晚睡的作息习惯，创作灵感常常在深夜涌现。偶尔晚上和大家见面直播，对自己来说能够适应，也觉得自在，网传“被压榨”属于误会。

In a video posted on Monday, Shen said his decades of writing have made him used to working late nights, when inspiration often strikes. Occasional evening livestreams suit him and feel comfortable, he said, calling claims of "exploitation" a misunderstanding.

沈石溪表示，十分感谢广大读者善意的关心与提醒，出版社方面也多次劝他早点结束直播休息，后续直播场次和时间会作出相应调整。

同时，他呼吁大家理性看待事件、文明理性发言。

他还提到，自己从事儿童文学创作四十余年，希望通过直播让更多人读到自己的作品。

Shen thanked readers for their concerns, saying the publisher had repeatedly urged him to end livestreams early, and that future sessions would be rescheduled. He also called for calm and rational discussion.

同日，涉事出版社也针对网络传言发布了回应。

The publisher issued a same-day statement addressing the rumors.

公开资料显示，沈石溪本名沈一鸣，1952年10月出生于上海，祖籍浙江慈溪，是国内知名动物小说作家，代表作包括《狼王梦》《斑羚飞渡》《最后一头战象》《第七条猎狗》等，作品长期被选入中小学课外阅读书目。

沈石溪在直播和短视频领域并非“被迫营业”的新人，他的抖音账号已积累超过136.3万的粉丝，小红书账号的粉丝量也达到了102万。

Shen, whose real name is Shen Yiming, was born in Shanghai in 1952 and is known for works including Wolf King Dream and The Seventh Hound. Many appear on primary and secondary school reading lists. 

Shen is no newcomer to social media, as he has more than 1.36 million followers on the platform Douyin and 1.02 million followers on the platform Xiaohongshu.
