新人办婚宴请亲朋吃外卖,有麻辣烫、炸鸡、奶茶……新娘:每人100餐标,不必拘泥传统
A wedding banquet in Daqing, Heilongjiang province, has sparked online debate after three tables of guests chose takeout over traditional wedding dishes.
According to Jimu News, a video posted on Monday showed bags of roast duck, malatang, fried chicken and milk tea at a hotel wedding.
Ma, a friend of the bride, said she and other friends had requested the takeout. The bride, Li, said the wedding had 30 tables, with only the three tables of her friends opting for takeout. Each guest had a budget of 100 yuan and could choose what they wanted to eat.
Li said her family respected their choice and joked that she would have made the entire banquet takeout if not for the need to accommodate older relatives.
"Young people should have their own way of getting married," Li said, adding that guests should be free to eat what they like rather than sticking to tradition.
有网友表示:“年轻人很有想法,顾及了不同的需求。”
也有网友认为“有点太随便了”。
The video drew mixed reactions, with some praising the couple for accommodating different preferences while others called the arrangement too casual.
