“敬礼娃娃”郎铮，被北大录取！

2008年汶川地震中，“敬礼男孩”郎铮触动全中国人民的心。如今，他在高考中取得了优异成绩，现已被北京大学国际关系学院录取。

Lang Zheng, who touched the nation's heart after the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 for saluting the soldiers who rescued him, has been admitted to Peking University after achieving excellent results in the college entrance examination.

2008年5月12日，四川汶川突发8.0级特大地震。当时，从地震废墟中得救的北川男孩郎铮只有3岁。获救后，他向解放军敬少先队队礼表示感谢。这一幕感动了无数人，他也因此被大家称为“敬礼娃娃”。

3-year-old Lang became known as the "Salute Boy", after a deadly magnitude 8.0 earthquake hit Sichuan province in 2008. As Lang, who was rescued from rubble in Beichuan county, one of the worst-hit areas near the epicenter, was being carried by soldiers on a makeshift stretcher, he gave them a military salute. The touching moment was captured by a photographer and prompted an outpouring of emotion nationwide.

在高考前，郎铮就给自己定下了目标，如今他如愿进入梦想中的大学。朗铮父亲在采访中表示，他将进入北京大学学习国际政治专业。

Before the college entrance examination, Lang Zheng set a goal for himself, and now he has entered the university of his dreams as he wished. He will study international politics at the School of International Studies at one of China's most prestigious universities, Lang's father said on Sunday.

郎铮表示，自己一直怀着感恩的心，希望通过努力学习，成为一名对社会有用的人。他也时常帮助他人，就像当初那些无私帮助他的人一样。

During an earlier interview, Lang said he remains grateful to those who helped him and enabled his hometown to rise from ashes. And after becoming a university student, he will strive to become a person of value to the society and repay the kindness he has received.
