最近，话题“电影院座椅为什么普遍是红色的”再次引发网络热议，不少网友表示：“好像从来没有注意到座椅的颜色”……

也有网友大胆猜测：

有一种说法认为，电影院的座椅之所以是红色的，是因为沿用了古时候剧院座椅的颜色。而早期的剧院座主要是给皇家贵族使用的，皇家贵族喜欢用华丽的红色，所以后来电影院的座椅颜色也就沿用了这个传统。

但这难免会让人产生疑问，电影院早就不是面向皇家贵族的了，大众的审美越来越多元，为什么电影院的座椅没有出现五颜六色的呢？

其实，许多电影院座椅之所以设计成红色是为了增强大家的观影体验。

Some argue that the tradition of red cinema seats dates back to a time when they were reserved for royal nobility in theaters. While cinemas no longer cater exclusively to the aristocracy, the choice of red seats in many theaters today is aimed at enhancing the overall viewing experience.

室内光线变暗后，红色是第一个消失在我们视线中的颜色。

随着电影院灯光变暗，座位以及墙壁和窗帘（通常也是红色的）很快变得漆黑一片。这有助于我们将注意力集中在屏幕上，让观影体验更加愉快。

当然，除了红色座椅，也有网友表示自己曾看到过黑色座椅：
