双语君约 2 分钟Some netizens have expressed that the undeveloped Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge, a rugged scenic area famed for its dramatic cliffs and roaring Jinsha River, has been officially closed since Apr 22.
The Shangri-La Culture and Tourism Bureau issued a directive on March 29, explicitly prohibiting access to undeveloped sections of Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge, citing hazards such as crumbling cliffs, eroded trails, and inadequate safety signage.
A staff member from Tiger Leaping Gorge Tourism Company told media on Wednesday: “The entire Middle Gorge remains closed as it is undeveloped. We advise tourists to visit the developed Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge instead.”
Actor Li Xian posted photos in December 2024 showcasing the gorge's untamed beauty, including a widely shared image of him holding a Chinese flag against a backdrop of turbulent waters. Fans identified the location as Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge.
2024年12月24日，虎跳峡景区一工作人员介绍，虎跳峡分为上、中、下虎跳，目前只开发了上虎跳。从图片来看，李现所去的路线为高路徒步线，“拍到了上虎跳和中虎跳”。其称，该线路有二十多公里，走下来最快需要一天，体力不佳者建议准备三天时间。
“景区预计明年彻底开发，目前未开发区域需要徒步，安全自负。而且路上有村民设置围栏要求收费拍照，这属于个人行为，我们一直在管理劝阻，完成开发后应该会有所好转。”她补充，这段时间天气冷，游客比较少，属于淡季。
