“润A·88888”，被处罚

据长沙政法频道，6月19日，长沙公安交管支队环路大队接到群众举报：一辆奥迪A8L行驶至北二环中岭立交桥往星沙联络线路段时，车辆尾部悬挂一块印有“润A·88888”的道具号牌，号牌未牢固固定、倾斜悬挂，涉嫌违法遮挡机动车号牌。

A motorist in Changsha, Hunan province, has been penalized for driving with a decorative fake license plate bearing the conspicuous number "Run A·88888" attached to the rear of an Audi A8L, after a tip-off led to a police investigation.

接到线索后，环路大队第一时间对涉事车辆信息开展核查，并通知驾驶员前往西北二环快速路中队接受调查处理。

经询问核实，该道具号牌本是二手车展厅的展示车装饰用品，仅简单悬挂用于提升展厅车辆观感，车辆撤展上路前，未及时将道具号牌拆除，便驾车上路行驶。

Upon receiving the report on Friday, officers quickly identified the vehicle and summoned the driver for questioning.

During the inquiry, the driver explained that the fake plate was originally a showroom decoration used at a used-car dealership to enhance the visual appeal of vehicles on display. The car had been removed from the exhibition floor without removing the prop plate, and the driver then took it onto the public road.

因驾驶员违反《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》第十一条第二款之规定，故意遮挡机动车号牌，被执勤民警依法对驾驶人处以罚款200元、驾驶证记9分的处罚。

The driver was fined 200 yuan and received 9 demerit points on their driving license.

长沙交警温馨提示：机动车上路行驶，必须按规定悬挂正规号牌，保证号牌清晰、完整、规范，不得加装各类装饰牌、道具牌遮挡原有号牌。切勿因追求车辆外观颜值心存侥幸违规上路，此类违法行为将面临严厉处罚。

In a public advisory, Changsha traffic police emphasized that all vehicles on public roads must display their legally issued license plates clearly, completely, and in compliance with regulations. Decorative plates, prop plates, or any other accessories that obscure the original number plate are strictly prohibited.
